I think the last time I went to an organized life drawing session was about 7 or 8 years ago in San Francisco. I forgot how meditative it can be and was so nice to just dedicate a few hours just drawing the human form. Here are a handful (the ones I like the best) of drawings from the other night. Thanks to Henry Chung for inviting me along.

Took a while to finish up this notebook. I no longer ride the underground to work and drawing was always a good way to spend a train ride.

Here are the next handful of drawings from my current small  Moleskin book. I usually have this in my back pocket when I leave the house. Without it I always get the 'I've left something behind' feeling.

An unexpected day off from work let me do some drawing. I've been trying to draw hands more when I have any down time.  Also, I redrew a quick moleskin drawing with some markers, and made my first attempt at digitally inking a drawing. Swampthing! Yes! The dodge and burn tools in Photoshop were my friends on this one.

I used some grey tone Copic markers and Staedtler pens for the hands and girl. Swampthing was drawn with a sweet-ass Blackwing pencil and digitally inked in Photoshop CC.

Finally got my set of grey tone Copic Markers and had some time this morning to do some doodling. May I introduce boy with a rocket ship hand, my 1 year old daughter as a robot, and a rocket ship

Took a little while to fill this book up with the move and general life stuff happening. Apparently there a quite a few things to do when moving countries with a small family. Anyway, here are some images from before and after the move.
